What are some of the ways other than using a lead generating company to gain prospective students from high schools? I understand using events such as career day and others, but who should I contact at the school to gain permission or guest speak in classes?

Get to know the guidance counselors at these schools. They are the bridge between high school students getting ready to graduate and your school. Many times they have career fairs or college nights that your school can attend?

Depending on the programs your institution offers, you can target high schools that contain magnet, or advance placement programs that in line with what you offer. It's an excellent way to provide an alternative to the seniors who are looking to continue on with their education in that specific field.
