understanding your institution

Learning of the ins and out of the instuition are important in order to guide students to differnet levels of enrollment process.

Hello Patty,

I couldn't agree with you more! When the prospective student is introduced to staff members from different departments such as; admissions, financial aid, acedemics, instructors, etc., it helps that prospect feel right at home! It also encourages the prospective student to make a good decision because they feel more at ease with respects to any perceived fears they may have had. To conclude, the prospective student is able to clearly see that every staff member is willing and able to assist them with the entire student experience and this translates into "peace of mind"!

Antonina,
Every staff member is responsible for the student experience. learning the ins and outs of the institution will help guide you through the different departments when the student needs assistance.

Rahiem,

Love it! It really changes the way that training occurs and interacting with your peers

I aimed to implement my best understanding of how people learn and how they interact by structuring the conference with no papers delivered. This is somewhat like “flipping the classroom”: the independent preliminary work that could be done in advance was done in advance—writing and reading papers and preparing comments on others’ work—and the precious face-to-face time was used for what could only be done that way: discussing, asking, brainstorming, and laughing together.
