Job Placement
If we have a 90% placement rate why cant we guarantee jobs?
Deborah,
There are no promises nor are there any guarantees. Our schools provide placement assistance in an effort to give them a step ahead in finding the job that they dreamed of.

I have never worked at any University that promised jobs. It is nice to have career services and I have worked at Universities that had great career services and one that had none. It is of benefit for the college to offer it because it gives the student peace of mind that the college places a high value on their education that the students have a great success after graduation. I wonder if the schools that don't offer it don't believe in their own education.
Katherine,
We can provide assistance to the student to improve their chances. Partnering with career services a student can put their best foot forward.

Sandra,
There are no guarantees and there are no promises that can be made. The commission rules strictly forbids this practice.

We cannot guarantee jobs, regardless any degree or diploma, because the hiring process depends in many other factors that are evaluated during the interview process.
It's my understanding that we cannot guarantee jobs regardless of what our job placing percentage is. It's critical that we don't make any promises to potential students. We cannot guarantee that they will get hire upon graduation either. We never know if they can do well in an interview regarless of how much training career services provides them.
Hi Charles,
Guarantee job placements is not a final process even if you would have been having 90% placement rate. You do not want to have surprise at then of the day. In all, according to the law, it is a must to go through the related job placements steps.

Paula,
There are many companies that will do that. They will take current employees or prospective employments and give them a job determinate upon completion of their education.

Do any kind of agreements/programs exist between employing companies and schools that guarantee a student a job in that company upon a good standing at graduation?
Clavens,
You cannot guarantee something you cannot deliver. Placement is something that cannot be guaranteed for every student everywhere. It's against the law
