It starts with a marketing approach on determing your target market. From there check the schools that they would be articulating to and start discussions with those institutions.
I agree that Articulation Agreements can be so positive for an institution and its students. Any suggestions on how and where to get started?
Articulation Agreements are an amazing tool for the college I work at. It also gets our name out there to the colleges we work with. Articulation Agreements are something fairly new to our college and so far it has done nothing but been a great tool!

Articulation agreements are fanastic in that all the hard work of transferability of credits is done. A great selling point.
Articulation Agreements provide the student the opprotunity to futher their education without wasting their time and money on courses or programs that won't transfer to another institution. They may be able to obtain their AS from one institution, knowing that they can advacne onto a BS at another institution. Or they may need one more course to finish a program or degree, it may not be offered at the institution they will be conplting the program at, but available at another institution that has an Articulation Agreement with.
A well defined Articulation Agreement between institutions on which credits are transferrable is a good thing so that a student will know from the start which credits are transferrable.
This will help the student make a better informed decision and plan for his or her future.

Articulation agreements set up the path for transferability of credits. It is agreement to accept your school's credit for articulation to a higher degree of study.
