Credits

The student may have to provide transcripts of the courses they want approved for credit. There may be certain grade point average requirements. The institution transferred from may have to be accredited, plus there will probably be other requirements. Sometimes there is a maximum number of credits that can be transferred in.

Some institutions accept life experience credit. Acceptance of this credit typically requires submission and review of paperwork proving that the applicant's life experience equals so many hours of coursework.

All transfer of credits need to meet rule. every institution assesses credit according to the courses they offer. It is a process.
