Organizational Chart
An organizational chart lists people responsible for each department and have information about how your institution operates. As an admission personnel, you should include a list of different departments personnel in your resource notebook so you can easily find out who to talk to about information about your institution.

We took this initiative a step further by adding the a face snapshot of key personnel in the various departments. This allows for easier recognition and more friednliness and openness with the students. The students seem to apprecaite it.
Diane,
Whichever works best for you! The importance of either document is the contents providing valuable information.
along with the Organizational Chart, my organization maintains an employee list sorted alphabetically by First name rather than Last name (which can be extremely helpful when the organization is large). The information includes their physical location, department, title, and phone extension.
Georges,
Many schools use the organizational chart this way. It is a road map on who to call.
Sherry,
It depends upon the individual school. I have seen it both ways. Adding individual names takes it to a more personal level.
On our orginzational chart we have every employee listed on it. I s this a usual for most schools? Or do most schools just list their managers for each department?
