Life Experience used as Credits
This was my very first time reading about anyone using their life experience as a credit for any course. How is that credited in some institutions? What qualifies life as a credit?
Anthony,
I agree with Koniesha that this is not an easy transition but a task we all should consider. often life experience means a quality employee. a person hired with knowledge and confidence will elevate the schools credibility in the eyes of a employer and i think this is worth the time.
Luke,
Life experience credits are so controversial. A thorough review would need to be made to make sure that the credits are given equal to the educational experience they would receive by taking the course.

We have not yet considered life experience, but occupational skills already obtained may become a source for transfer credits.
Katherine ,
The state of Florida, Department of Education, has a virtual high school. However, there are others that are truly diploma mills. Do your research and validate the school.

I have heard of this for a high school diploma on line. Is this something that would be considered a "Diploma Mill" and not a legitamate form of a diploma?
Koniesha,
Many schools do not even venture into that arena unless it is military service. You must equate the life experience into curriculum outcomes in order to consider. Not an easy transition.
