Placement

Placement is a course long process and doesnt just happen at the end. Schools that are always better at placing students.

Sharon,

Not knowing the intricacies of your program, I would not want to speculate on the process to follow. I would certainly discuss with your management and if there becomes a regulatory question I would contact CIE.

As a requirement, the student has to be employed in a center that they are enrolling in our Institution for continuing education for. Half way through the course some students are asking for information to change to a different center than the one they are employed. This creates a conflict between the school and the center in which the student originally started from. Though there is no obligation between our Institution and the center,do you have any suggestions on how to handle this. Should we include a statement in our agreement to address this?

Joann,

Schools are accountable for their completion and placement rates. The reputation of the school will be grounded in those numbers.

The end gain for students (employemt), should always be on the forefront of the Admissions Reps. discussion along with indusrty knowledge/trends.

Becky,

Beginning with the end in mind! We are all anxious for our students to enroll but we are also anxious for them to graduate and get into the career field of their dreams.

Hi Becky. I totally agree with you. The placement process should begin at the beginning of the enrollment process. If not, another great place is the clinical portion. What do you think?

Placement starts with enrollment at our school as well. It makes a world of difference and inspires others.

Omar,

Efforts to place the student should begin at the time of enrollment. You start with preparing the student for interviews, resume building and other job hunting tips.
