Transfer of Credits

Do programs need to be 100% the same for credits to actually transfer over?

Megan,
The determination of transfer credits is entirely up to the receiving institution. There are many institutions that do not except any transfer credits. Whatever your school policy is, it must be outlined in the catalog. Articulation agreements are agreements between two schools that outline the transferability of credits. Not all schools seek affiliation agreement.

If I herd correctly, no they do not need to be 100% the same to transfer over. The other school does however need to be either accrediated or the two schools need to be in some sort of agreement about the transfering of credits.
