Enrollment Process
The enrollment process is so important that you cover all the aspects to the proposed student and answer all question correctly. This will help them to make an informed decision if this is the right school and program for them
Stephanie ,
We do have to be current on the regulations so we can properly convey the requirements and remain compliant.

Most of our potential students have friends or family that have attended our school. Therefore word of mouth is our best advertisement. I do however correct alot of false or misleading information given to them from graduating students. Rules and Regulations change at all times so to be knowledgeable is the best key in order to correctly advise students on the programs that we have to offer, and all other important aspects of our institute.
Brashel,
It does! And it clears it right away to assure full understanding.

Thanks for suggestion on having the student repeat the information to confirm that have the correct understanding. This gives us the opportunity to correct misunderstanding too.
I agree Patty, full and complete disclosure is the law. Many times students want information about salary or degree outcomes. It is always best to have the student do research themselves on reputable websites like onetonline.ogr or bls.gov to review trends by state and istorical salary information.
Victoria,
I believe that is a great strategy. ALso, you can ask them to repeat it back to you or frame a question so they must respond accordingly.

Harriet,
Full disclosure and transparency. Withholding information is misleading and against the law.

The enrollment process should also be done in a manner that is not only serious and determined but at times when you are going through a very long Enrollment Agreement, is wise to take a short break in the verbage and ask the potential student "do you have any questions about this" or something like "so far, is this all clear?"
