I find it interesting that an agent's permit must be renewed each year. This is also very important because it seems like things may change a lot within the Ohio board.

This is a great idea. It helps keep up with what is new and is happening. Change is always good, so should training.
Renewing an agent's permit annually makes perfect sense. Because changes with guidline requirements at a federal and state level, this insures that the proper updates and training are necessary for an agent to continue in this field of employment for the student's benefit in being represented correctly by the institution.
