Letting the Prospect Decide
As mentioned in the course thus far, I agree that it is very important to have a thorough understanding of the school you are representing. It is equally important that the representative’s knowledge and understanding is clearly and honestly communicated to prospective students. As a representative you should be presenting the options your school provides, and at that point it is up to the prospective students to evaluate whether attending your school is the right fit.
I agree with both discussion posts as students today have many choices and it's their time and money that they are going to spend on education. It is important that they see a return on their investment and find the right school that offers the program, on campus resources and fits their daily schedule.
I agree that in order for an Agent to do their very best, they must be well informed of what the institution offers, understand the dynamics of the overall goals for the institution, as well as make prospective students their priority. It is up to the Agent to assist the prospective student in deciding if the institution is the right fit.
I agree with everything that you said. I think giving prospective students option and information in order for the student to make the best decision for themselves and their own personal situation is many times overlooked in the recruitment of students.
