My experience was pretty similar. Obviously there's a lot of info to digest, so I think right now my plan is to devise a learning strategy, something that will allow me to take things one item at a time, but still be prepared to learn a lot in a relatively short amount of time. My bigggest hurdle is learning the interview process, but that's something I'm spending a lot of personal time learning.
My first day was a very busy one. I was lucky to get to see several admissions appointments, learn all about the campus and start some internal online training. LOTS of information-was a lot to remember. My Director of Admissions was out of town my first week, so I was being trained by our regional director of admissions as well as a seasoned admissions rep(who has been a wealth of knowledge). I am excited to continue learning and help students make a positive change in their lives!!
