Enrollment process
Hello Everyone!
After reading about the different documents needed for the school and the student is there a particular process that someone has that makes it easy to understand these documents more?
Aaron Penhorwood
I found that, in my experience, if there is something I'm not fully grasping or utilizing, or something I don't feel comfortable with, I will attempt to research and learn it myself first, using the plans, cheat sheets, and materials I have at my disposal. If that doesn't help, I will approach my superiors or coaching/support staff and have them coach me through it once so that I have a complete grasp. Once I understand it fully I can then fully explain things to the student.
The information was clear and concise. Valuable information provided for students to make an informed decision.
I agree!
Also I find that if I make a master copy of all the documents that I need them to sign and agree to, it helps me to make sure that im not forgetting anything imporant!
The "cheat sheets" definately help! Not only does the information need to be accurate, it needs to be delivered in a way the student can easily understand.
Hi Aaron!
Our college has a 10-step process to get the student enrolled once they have their interview. It is designed to be informative and cover all of the same specific topics required by the State of Ohio as well as any other regulations/requirements that need met.
The college has "cheat sheets," we are able to refer to that makes sure all of the forms are completed on time and are in compliance, and we have a FAQ sheet, as well as other forms available, that breaks down the information for us to make sure it's being delivered accurately to the student(s).
