I believe it is important to briefly discuss the information with the student and have them read the details so there is no confusion. Discussing it with them beforehand prepares them for what they are reading and may relieve some stress and then they can read the more specifics.

Paperwork I would consider one of the most important items for both you and the student. Making sure that the student has a full understanding of what to expect, how things work as well as the basic knowledge of the process will help to prevent any potential issues that may occur in the future.

The admissions paper work is very important for the student to understand. Not only for you but also for the student to make sure they meet all the requirements and understand fully the olbigations they are entering into. It is a good thing to make sure they read it and I encourage to ask any questions they have.

Of course, it is the resposibility of the school to determine with certainty that the student not only meets the admissions qualifications but fully understands the financial obligations they are entering into and the ecpected outcomes of the program they will be taking. Not only would I make sure they read it, but encourage them to ask questions as well.
