Admissions Rep and Paperwork
The subject was laid out very well and the information was very helpful. I understand from a greater vantage point the importance that All Rules and Regulations are followed and understand that I must be aware at all times that I am not only putting myself at risk for negligence but also ITT could be in jeopardy if I fail to do the incorrect thing or say the incorrect thing.
I found this to be very informative as well. It laid it out great! I am more knowledgeable now.
We have a checklist form to make sure, first and foremost, all paper work has been presented and completed. I, personally, have overlooked certain things, such as enrollee's initials, my own initials on things like the EAA disclosures. However, our receptionist and registra was responsible for putting the information from the file into the system; therefore, they were always our second & third set of eyes to inform admissions of what we and/or student needed to complete the paperwork. because, it can be challenging trying to get last minute students enrolled before a class start with no paperwork errors.
I understand every school has its own produre for completing paperwaork, but would anyone be willing to share how his/her system? What do you do everytime to make sure there are no errors in your paperwork.
We just need to make sure that we are not afraid to ask questions. No one expects a new rep to know everything or figure things out on their own.
