Financial Aid and Tuition Assistance

If the institution you work for supports Title IV financial aid programs, you must inform the prospective student of all of his/her options regarding this information. It is important to be knowledgeable of such programs to be more effective in helping the student.

I have to admit, I am not proficient in all things. Having said that, I do rely on my knowledge of "who I know". I also can appreciate the culture at our campus being that we all learn aspects of each others responsibilities, but are encouraged to work as a team and refer students to those staff members that deal primarily in the area in question. Financial Aid is one such area that I feel I want to know as much as I can about. It does, however console me to know that I work with staff that is very supportive in helping me with that area.

Our school does accept Title IV funding and this is one topic area that I have added to my resource manual that includes all information about the students options and general information concerning this program.
