Student Services
I work at Lakewood College and Im very excited that after reviewing the services that student services can provide. My school offers most of all of the services, which makes me feel great about my institution.
We have a very active Student Services department at my institution, as well. I WISH I'd have had these resources available to me (or had known they existed if we did) back when I was in college. Absolutely makes sense from a retention and overall student satisfication perspective, not to mention setting them up for success upon graduation.
I truly believe having a strong student serviced department is huge for a student's experience. In my past experience, it is just another part of the school that allows the student to feel comfortable and feel apart of the school community.
I also was very excited to find out my institution had a lot to offer to the students to assist them. It really shows how much the school does care about the students' success.
