absolutely. Dishonesty always comes back at you. If you are truthful,it's not just the professional thing to do, you don't have to remember what you told people. This is especailly true if money, placement and success are involved.
I completely agree! Think about how awful it would have been for those students to waste all the time and money for something that they thought would work out in the end! I think it is completely unethical to tell a student that their credits should transfer when we really have no idea.
I couldn't agree more. I used to work at a large state university, and once ot twice a week, we had students walk in wanting to transfer from a school whose credits never had transferred anywhere. Unfortunately, these students were misled during the admissions experience at the other school, and were told that the credits "should" transfer. Honesty is the best policy!!!
