Staying within the guildelines keep everyone compliant and students will gain from staying the course.
Guidelines and rules are specific requirements to abide by. It is a clear plan that should be followed throughout the course of being an admissions rep.
It is essential that schools adhere to guidelines as the guidelines serve as important boundaries within which schools may act. Without these rules in place, there would be complete disarray.
Compliancy guidelines and clearly communicated rules and regulations are some of the only tools to insure consistent, fair, and above board practices for any industry, in my opinion. While they do not guarantee all is proper, they do permit checks and balances which are observable and reviewable:)
