Yes, we must always know the difference between counseling/advising and being an agent. We cannot cross the line.
Yes, each position should be clearly defined not only for ourselves but to direct the students in the right direction to gain the information that they may need from the right people.
I feel like it better explains our stance on the admission process, in elimnating factors such as being solely reponsible for what classes need to be taken at which times, and does not hold us responsible for verying graduation times, dates, and percentages.
I agree. The titles of people's positions are a clear indicator and have specific guidelines of what their roles are in a student's education.
Knowing the difference between counselor and agent helped me distinguish the difference in our responsibilities and how they are two separate titles that should not be mistaken for each other.
