placement
We have always superseeded the govt placemeent rate. we have over 40 years working with employers and they have a strong trust with our training. I wish more schools could say this
i wish the state schools were held to the standards that we are held to about placement.
I show and discuss the placement rates with potential students. Since we are a new location I show the placement rates at our other campuses. The placement rate is also part of the enrollment packet that the student signs, date and receives.
We are proud to show our graduation and placement rates to our students. It is interesting, however, to look at our competitors' rates, online. I wish students and their parents would look at these sites!
We have a career service department that can provide job seeking assistance. We also provide student with the required Graduate Information.
Kristen,
You are required by the Board's to provide the completion and placement rates to prospective students. Simply referencing a website for them to visit does not meet the Board's requirements.
Kimberly Stein
We used to share our placement rates with students. Although, our placement rates are very good we no longer share this in our presentation. We reference a website for the students to go to and obtain this information.
Though we could never guarantee placement, the role is to assist students with their self-direct job search.
I agree. I think it is very important for us to be able to show our placement rates. Shows that our school is thriving.
I think placement rates are a great way to show a school is thriving but sometimes they are hard to verify depending on a companies privacy policy
As well, we have over 68 years of training and assisting our graduates with job placement. We have a great network of companies that we have worked with for years and years and we have job developers that are out every day creating new opportunities for our students.
It's certainly an on going process each day and we all need to put as much or more emphasis on the back door as we do the front.
We have a wonderful career services department, dedicated to helping out students with placement
Over the years(30+) we have developed strong school-industry relationships which help to secure "pre-hires" for students while they are still at school.
I have never been afraid to show our placement rates ...they are impressive in this economy.
I make a point to stop by the Career Placement office to discuss current placement positions each month to keep in-the-loop with trends and success rates.
We have a very successful placement department.
The school I am employed by has a board posted right outside my office, it definitely makes me proud to be a part of an ethical workplace, where we absolutely put the students best interest first. In addition, I ALWAYS make it a point to show the students the consumer information and catalog.
We have great career placement ratings as well; I am proud to work for such an ethical institution!
