Graduation Rates

Anytime you are talking about numbers from the school make sure that you give accurate information.

It's extremely important that we're always giving the student the correct information. Since I work for the online division our graduation rates constantly varies. To stay in compliance when a student asks what are graduation rates are, I refer them to our school website and encourage them to visit our consumer and information section of our school website and catalog.

Providing Graduation Rates also helps a student understand Graduating can be viewed as an accomplishment to look forward to.

One issue that I always question is how are these graduation percentages calculated. It often appears that the numbers for many schools are oftem manufactured and do not reflect actual results.

I agree. We don't share any specific rates or percentages without the actual paperwork in front of the students to ensure accuracy.

A school's reputation is probably the single most important thing, once you lose that you can't get it back.

Andrew,

You are required to provide the previuos THREE years of graduation and placement rates, by program.

When referring to Graduation rates, how far back should your refer to? Typically we promote the previous graduation class, but with multiple graduation classes throughout the year, is a full year warranted or should multiple years be made aware to the person?

When talking about the school you represent, accurate information should always be given.
