Enough at enrollment

Simply put do you think we a required to do enough in regards fo notifying the student at enrollment. (Notification of crtitical factors.

I always encourage the student to read the enrollment agreement when they get home. They are not to sign it until they bring it back when they do their final FA appointment. When they come back to finalize their FA and sign the agreement, I go over each section and make them sign as I go - No questions left unanswered as far as the enrollment agreement goes.

I agree that some students may rush the process, but it is very important to do our best to ensure that they understand the enrollment agreement.

I agree about the students rushing through everything. We do electronic documents and they will just scroll to the bottom and click the box. When I catch them doing this I explain what the document was trying to inform them about. I really do think having an actual paper document slows them down and the student were more informed.

Through the state disclosure form, as well as the enrollment agreement, we provide all information at least twice.

I think our students are very well informed of the expectations and success rate of the school and of the career they are pursuing as long as the representative takes the time to explain everything in detail. Some students trying to rush through the application process, may not be reading everything they are signing.
