Hi Elizabeth! Having an understanding of your school's attributes and how certain attributes specifically benefit your student will assist you in helping your student make the best decision for them in regards to enrolling and ultimately, serving your student in an ethical manner. It sounds like your challenge may lie in matching specific benefits to certain attributes to ensure your student gets information they need to make a decision rather than overloading them with information that may not pertain to them, do I have this right?
What are some things you will do to slow down and follow the student?
For me probing a bit more. Understanding the needs of the person in front of me. Understanding how and if I could help them. That question can only be answered once I have a better understanding of what they are in need of.
I understand the differences between attributes and benefits but I believe this is where I need to slow down and follow.
