I want to put some video testimony on the school website. Also, I was thinking of having some of the students help out at open houses and maybe visit some of the local high schools.
Thanks
Connie
Great insights, Connie! Your graduates can be a wonderful source of positive PR for your school, without a doubt. What are some of the ideas you have to incorporate your graduate stories into your PR campaign?

I think that graduates are some of the best PR people especially if they are your better students. I get calls from employers all the time asking me if I have any more students that I can recommend for the job.
Thanks
Connie
Nice idea! I really like it. Yes, once you have built a relationship with your students, you may be able to contact them once they have graduated to see how they are doing. Those success stories are always good PR. Have you had any luck with this tactic?
Graduates, alumni and faculty are a great PR source. Hearing success stories from alumni are always helpful. Prospective students often want to hear from recent grads so it's good to know what grads are doing one year after graduation e.g a promotion, developing a new process/product at work, e.t.c.
Great ideas, Shan. Using social media is definitely a way to get the "good word" out about your instituion. Good luck.
I have thought about asking some of the Alumni to write about their experience at our school and possibley have them put it on facebook so others could read it. I also need to put a link to our facebook page on the website.
Great approach, Denise! I really like the idea of gathering a variety of perspectives since these give you flexibility in communicating with several different audiences. And no one adds more to the true value of education as those who have experienced it for themselves! Thanks for the great comment!
I would call on all employees and especially graduates to help develop pr stories. All employees have a different perspective and can add alot to the process. Graduates are especially valuable to assist in pr as they can give testimonials of their direct experience with the programs.
