I often reference program information

Working in the admissions department I refer to the catalog to show potential students course descriptions and requirements. I also refer to the section showing credit for previous training.

I reference the catalog most often for course descriptions.

Code of Conduct and Concorde Values. Respect, Intergrity, Customer Service, TeamWork and Achievement.

I also highlight sections of the program the prospective student is interested in. This makes it easier when they go home to talk it over with their support group for them to review as well.

Attendance policies, dress code policies, and conduct.

Institutional Accreditation, Students alway want to see it in writing

I agree attendance policies, dress code, and conduct.

School policy like grading, uniform, attendance

With working in Admissions, multiple sections are referrenced on a daily basis. I discuss program length, curriculum, tuition, etc. with prospective students so as to ensure they have the necessary information to make an informed decision.

As an admissions coordinator, I reference the course descriptions and student policies.

I most often reference the attendance policy. I also like to give students a preview of some of the upcoming courses they may be required to take.

I would add.....repeatedly. It is good to have soetning like this to fall back on.

Disciplinary and Attendance Policies.

SAP-Satisfactory Academic Progress policies
Conduct policies

Refund Policy

I always highland all the section pertaining to my department. It makes it easy to refer to the questions from our students.

I frequently reference course descriptions, the Academic Progress policies, and Attendance policies.

- accreditation
- completion, pass, & placement rates
- program length/hours
- admissions requirements
- student dress code
- attendance policy

Barbara - I completely agree. I make reading the catalog a requirement for new employees in my department, even though they have no direct student contact. It definitely provides information that is beneficial to virtually every department in a school. I also have done "catalog quizzes" during department meetings to help provide a "refresher" of info or to remind people what a great source of information it is as a reference.
