Very true. I think we all know that not everyone learns the same way or at the same pace-which doesn't mean that someone is less intelligent than another or any less capable of being successful in their chosen field or study.

People in general would do better if they had extended time. However, if we had extended time, then how would anything get done on time?
Also, while you don't mind making exceptions to the rule; one must be careful that we don't do away with policy and procedures to make accommodations.
While, I do understand that students with disabilities may need extended time, if you do it for one you must do it for all.
As an instructor i try to be fair wit my time, but some of my students need a little more then others.
