The Accommodation Process
The accommodation process is a must to properly assign each student, with a disability, the appropriate assistance they need. I hope to learn more in detail about how the procedure is filed and completed.
In reference to this topic I would like to share with you some ideas regarding the “modification processâ€.
Under the law, there is a difference between the word "accommodation" and the term “modificationâ€. Accommodation is used to describe an alteration of environment, curriculum format, or equipment that allows an individual with a disability to gain access to content and/or complete assigned tasks. Otherwise, the term "modification" is used to describe a change in the curriculum. When we are able to use both process at school, disabled students will receive the proper assistance they need.
In having disabled students in a school, the accommodation process is necessary. Disabled students is entitled to an education just as much as anyone else and special accommodations as well as assistance need to be provided.
