A lot of great information. Regulations are put in place to ensure that accurate information is being shared. Be mindful with how you present information. Make sure to point out the locations that one can find the precise details.

The information on advertising and marketing was very relevant.  I also found the information on the military and veterans to be very important.  The state regulation for each state was very helpful.

Knowing all the guidelines for disclosures and compliance by the state, though may be viewed as long and tedious, are so well detailed and  protects the school from any potential negative feedback and outcomes and hefty fines.

I learned there are steps in place to make sure things are handled right for our military. This is new to me.

I had no idea that there were so many regulatory requirememts when it came to higher education and the process of dispensing information not to mention all the other processes (admisstion/financial aid/graduation and employment). I am unsure how to apply all of these within my scope of practice just basically being aware of the items important to me and adhering to those necessary that are  specific to my institution and state.

While all aspects of the module was informative, I was most intrigued by the area that provided information on publications. (i.e. the catalog and student hand book).  It was interesting to see how regulated it is. (i.e. what must be included)  While most are able to publish information on their websites, it's still mandidated to have physical copies as well.

Very informative especially the differrent regulations for each states. Importance of providing appropriate/factual consumer disclosures.

Very important to know your state regulations and to never compare schools with each other. Stick to the facts. Be honest and ethical

Advertisement and marketing should be done with honesty and integrity. Do not make derogatory remarks about other colleges. Always highlight your institutions strengths.  Federal regulations require schools to provide disclosures to students and staff.  Failure to provide disclosure may result in civil fines up to $27,500.

I learned the importance of knowing your specific state regulations and how those are similar/different to other states.  It is also important to be careful with the use of social media because it can be powerful but also dangerous.

I like how we have military benefits for service members. The state regulation section was very helpful and informative.

The topics covered in this section were very informative. I found the section about military benefits especially helpful in being able to understand more about the history & compliance aspect. I also enjoyed learning about the compliance policies for my specific state, Michigan.

There was an good amount of information that was discussed. I found the information on state regulations the most helpful and informative.

I enjoyed the breakdown of all catalog/handbook requirements. Good info - just a lot.

I found State Regulations very interesting. I wish we would be able to print for reference, but that particular section is unavailable for printing.

This was a good general review. I am happy there are benefits that are veterans. I hope they are aware of them.

This is very interesting so far. I like the embrace of social media and the calls for positive advertising where you highlight your school's benefits without attacking any others.

Transparency regulations when it comes to advertising protects the prospective student consumer. The institution lays out a realistic expectation and the student becomes a more empowered buyer.
