This section helped me gain insight on the importance of having the checklist of all the documents before meeting out your potential student. Also how the University catalogue helps giving all the information on financial Aids, grants, refunds etc which are important aspect to learn when enrolling.
Is very important that you know the institution's policies and financial aid options and procedures available at the campus in order to advising students about that
Most schools have specific guidelines to follow when enrolling a student, creating a new student folder and knowing what to do w/ the folder when you have completed your part
In this section I learned of the importance of keeping a checklist for all students I will be working with in order to insure I am relaying the various rules and regulations clearly and concisely. It was also made clear that all of the information should be on both the documents given to the students as well as reviewed verbally in order to minimize misunderstandings which can occur when there are many requirements and regulations in place.
Admissions representatives are responsible for compliance of all admissions regulations and are required to be knowledgeable in regards to financial aid and payment options, etc.

It is highly important to complete the Enrollment Agreement with the proper signatures and to ensure the student and/or parents understand the requirements such as docs needed, tuition fees and repayment. Also to be clear on who will explain financial aid options.

The information in this module in very informative on what is expected of me in admissions. Organization and knowledge of the information needed to fully support our incoming and potential students is vital to the success of our institution. Working together in admissions as a strong unit will help to ensure a heatly growth in enrollment throughout the years to come.
