Placement Department
Our Institution prepare the staff to assist the students and our graduates the best as we can with continuing education training. Also we call resent graduates and ask them question regarding graduates employment duties and if they research of job's opportunities.
Jany,
You are in the right track in reaching out to the students. I would encourage you to use the social media to reach out to these particular students. Now, many people signed up on facebook and other social media providers. Therefore, I would suggest that you open a facebook account among others.
Thank you!

Our placement department is having a problem with reaching out to our graduates. They have either moved, or phone number has been changed. Before I started the previous administrators did not ask the graduates for email addresses. I ask for them now from the students I have been contact with since I started but it is still a challenge. What are you suggestions and/or advice on how I can reach out to our have graduated from our program. Thank you
Jany,
Sounds like a great start. You might want to require students to take courses and workshops to build employment skills such as resume writing, building confidence, interviewing, etc. Staying in touch with all graduates is really essential, in our opinion. Your Alumni are great resources for new students, help in the classroom, and will tell you where the jobs are. Career services is one of the most important departments in a career school. Thanks, Susan
