One of the services my institution provides for the students is externship program where a potential employer will have more time to evaluate the student skills and by the same token the student will have a chance to see if the site is a potential place for employment.

Campus clinics and outside externships and internships are wonderful ways for students to gain experience and confidence. Ideally these experience cans turn onto job offers. Has this been the experience on your campus?

Our school services the public therfore students get plently of experience and they also met client that which sometimes become their clients once students finish there programs and than are recommneded to their family and friends.

Externship is a great opportunity for our students! Besides giving them an opportunity to practice their skills and helping them gain confidence it is a great way for students to show a potential employer that they would make a great employee. Everyone wins when students are hired from their extern/intern site. Can you name one way to help increase the likelihood that an extern may get hired?
