Health fair/stress mgmt

I was thing of having a health/stress mgmthealth fai. How helpful will that be?

I recently finished my degree with the University of Phoenix. While standing in line at the graduation ceremonies, I had the chance to speak with other students. I found that many of them had ran into personal differences with various Instructors at the school. We all spoke about the things that we had trouble with and how we overcame those troubles. I found this to be most refreshing as sometimes you feel you are the only one.

It seems people deal with stress in very personal ways. I like the idea you posted about sharing stress release techniques. I would guess learning that other students are dealing with similar problems is comforting.

Getting students to identify and deal with stressors is an important first step. This generation of students seems to be more candid on the computer than they are in person. Using a web based tool, like Campus ToolKit, is a way of working with this tendency.

What would you say are some of the best techniques to share on controlling stress? I recently finished courses with the University of Phoenix and they would ask the students to share their stress release techniques after each class. I thought that was a good way to share ideas with future students.

Certainly. Do you think it would be beneficial to include stress management in your curriculum? Do you share any of the techniques you use to control your emotions and stress with your students?

I think is better to be in control of your emotions and stress in front of your class.

Please share additional details. Who would this be for: the students, their families, the community? What's the objective?
