Team work

Team work comes not only from staff members but to encourage students to work together to problem solve issues that may be out of their control. Appoint new students with a mentor who can help guide the new student, someone who can relate student to student. This is a welcoming commitment from the mentor to the new student, who is scared and unsure.

I have to agree on this subject matter. Team work does also include other students. Students learn at all different paces and levels of understanding. I frequently sk those who are ahed to help those who are having difficulty.

The ability to work in teams is a skill frequently identified by prospective employers. Mentoring is one way to develop those skills. Do you actively try to develop team building through classroom activities, Kathy?
