It is important to understand that all students are 100% individual from everyone else on Earth. Demonstrating this care and expression of this understanding immediately create the emotional connection that is desperatly needed for the confidence in the conversation
I agree. You have to be aware of every students behavior. Also if you don't have the answer always consult with someone else.
Correct one method does not fit all. However a good listeneer is always better then a good talker, because a talker cant listen.
Ironically, the longer it takes a student to seek help, the less time staff and faculty may have to provide the support they need. If a student waits until they are in crisis, it may be too late to solve the problem

i agree. one method does not fit all and time is a very important facot. Sometimes students want help but need time in order to express themselves and seek out the proper help they need.
I agree. Some students need for time to discuss solutions, other students are looking for some time to be heard.
