Intervention.

I work with defendant in my full time employment. One on the most important factors is cognitive behavior. This is a good starting point for change.

I think this is an excellent point that you make. Cognitive behavior is a very important fact to deal with intervention. As the modules have pointed out, the student's paradigm is his/her reality. The way s/he perceives the world is how s/he responds to the world. This deals with the student's thinking process. If you can help develop a student's critical thinking skills, you can begin to change their cognitive behavior.
