The school I work at has many resources available for students. Students come to me all the time with issues because I will take the time to listen. Once I have determined what their issue is, I refer them to the appropriate person (counselor, adviser). Now they have a direction but I stress that this is not the solution. Fortunately, we do not have high drop-out rate in our program because we address as much as we can as soon as we can.
