Retention

This is an ongoing issue for all career schools.

Retention is something that instructors need to deal with on a daily basis. The idea of helping the students finish "the game" is the most important thing as an instructor.

I believe retention is the heart of any college. Yes, admissions is very important. It give us the opportunity to have this new canvas where the instructors as artists will create a new professional. On the way things can get tough for them and it can get difficult for the Instructors because is an everyday issue. When the department such as student services take over a situation to help in retention, we have the chance to look at it in a different way and maybe serve as a mediator with fresh options for the student and all the faculty and staff.

What will it take to get organized? Who's involved in finding a solution?

I think the bigest probleme in retention in our school is due to unorganized new program, and a lot of student are desapointed with the delivery of our sylabus, from what they have been told when they get enrolled by admission.

How do you define the great experience of your students? Is this a universally held definition?

Retention is part of our daily routine, increase the great experience of our students is our goal
