Thats right Marcello, I keep it light and fun so that the students are not afraid to make mistakes or approach me with questions.
I agree. Using humor in the classroom is great for both the instructor and the students.
Agreed,during class it can relieve the pressure/boredom for all.As long as it does not embarass anyone individually and can highlight what can go wrong it is a great tool.
Humor is a great tool for both, students and Instructors. Humor will assist to brake the ice, release a tense moment or simply awake the class. By using natural ways of engagement, if there is later a more serious talk required between student and Instructor; the student will be more receptive to it.
