Where do I begin?
When we as teachers have the opportunity to guide the students in order to they be able to make their profesional dreams, we realy accomplish our responsibilities as leaders for them
teachers must teach our students to love school, we should guide them telling them the advantages of the study with which it may have more job opportunities, better quality of life, possessing knowledge and ability to use it will make us better people in the workplace.
I think taking this course has helped me identify what I, as an instructor need to look out for as symptoms of attrition. I knew that stress lowered your immune system but I was not aware of the GAS model until now. It makes perfect sense to me. My next steps will be to check in with students at least once a term (6 weeks) to go over grades and give them a chance to give me one on one feedback about how they are feeling in class. I want to make sure that the students are aware of the resources available to them that are provided by the school. I will ask my mentors to be the eyes and ears of the class and to bring to my attention anyone who is not feeling successful in class. I hope that with concerted effort we can all work together to help each other succeed.
