Exactly! We need to teach them how to 'fish', not keep baiting their hook.

I agree that we should be as helpful as possible, but sometimes that means helping them to help themselves. We are speaking about adults, even young adults, and it should not be necessary to hold their hands every step of the way.
Put yourself in their shoes. How would you feel in a strange place and not knowing where to go or what to do. Be as helpfull as possible. Make students feel comfortable in their envoirnment.
