Yes, orientation can be fun it can also be a little fearful. I remember when I went to orientation, I keep wondering in my mind ok when is the ball going to drop, meaning am I going to be told something different about my studies since I've signed on the dotted line. For me the school was under close evaluation for one week, then I began to relax.
Meeting new people is always exciting when starting new ventures
I disagree, student should be given a chance and it is up to the instructor to help such student to accomplish what they never thought they could.
Yeah but it needs to be more than that I believe that orientation is your time to actually weed out some of that students that is not really serious about school or not sure about this particular field.
