Job Placement
I really like the suggestions concerning job placement. I've never been comfortable calling it such. I'm going to speak with our President about changing the department name. Also, I'll alter my admissions presentation to include Career Services instead of job placement. Thank you.

I would encourage my class to research employers in the area, regionally, and globally. This helps increase their knowledge regarding available employers. I also update a bullentin board with job listings in our program.
I will many times have the students go on line and review with me openings and applications from much larger companies. We will address some of the questions, and then I have them apply for a position to run through the process.
First explore all avenues then remember that you are trained professionaly and you have much more knowledge than the average applicant.
