The main key is preperation. If faculty and other department services, such as student services, financial aid, etc. staff are involved with all information necessary for students to make a smooth transition to attend school, their experience perception will be positive.
I agree. Every department is resposible for the success of the students. I always enjoy having new students, because they are so excited, and they absorb everything up like a sponge. It is great to bond with them.
