Late Enrollment: I would have thestudent sit in the front of the class so they would have a more up close and personal feeling to start in my class.

I will have them introduce them selfs to make them feel part of the group

I also like this idea. I actually do the same, having the students sitting on the first row and introduce myself with a short biography. I ask them about things the learn in the orientation and we discuss about it and that gives me the opportunity to refresh the old students.
