I found this to be important to see both students and co-workers as customers. I can teach the students to look at this in a different light. If the students look at this as a job and how to handle a customer in the proper mannor, this might help them succeed in the real world.

customer service applies in all aspects of life, treating a customer right makes them feel good and they will be back, this also applies to student as well and help keep them intersted in school

Thanks for this post. I have not had a lot of success equating school to a job, as most adult students already have jobs and see themselves as customers. We still have high standards of behavior and performance for our students.
