Organizational Culture
In my prior teaching life I worked in the dog eat dog world of business. I never want to go back to that, everything we are asked to do is to benefit the student.

My DOE has a wonderful vision..."Provide the best education you can and the rest will follow". It really give all of the instructors a simple instruction manual with their decisions.
It definitely is a changing world out there. The best way to handle it is to listen to all the changes and not react immediatley. There are reasons for the changes and it definitely will take it course in a positive direction. I've been with the same company now for almost 12 years and it's grown tremendously!! Along the years, there have been changes that I didn't think woud work, but I kept my mouth shut and moved forward hoping to climb the ranks along the way. That I have done, and I feel much more involved knowing what's going on and the reasons behind the thought process. By all means, it does take a team, but it takes dedication from one self first. :)
Every employee of the organization needs to work together to make the students and the organization successful.
