Students are not always aware of their dominate learning style.
Consider conducting a learning style self-assessment of students.
Initiate class discussion of learning style differences.
For group-work assignments, ensure that each group include a diversity of learning styles so students can help each other learn.
This will help students see the class members as a self-help, cohesive learning community.
