If you're like me you probably feel that once you get one thing down and can do it well, things change. My suggestion would be to check out the following software/resources: Jing, CamStudio, Shutter, etc. These will help in making your recordings. The Illinois Online Network (ION) also has a lot of resources for teaching on-line or in a blended environment. I hope these help.
